Owner / Head Coach
I was first introduced to CrossFit during my freshman year of college where I trained out of my parent’s garage. It wasn’t love at first sight. It took awhile for me to leave my “Globo” days behind where all I did was bench press and curls. After getting my ass kicked by my 50-year-old dad in a few workouts, I realized my routine wasn’t working. Ever since then, I haven’t looked back.
After coaching family and friends in our garage for 2 years we ran out of space. Moving to a new location was one of the best decisions of my life. CrossFit is a huge passion of mine. I have seen how it has changed my life and those around me. Thanks to the love and support of my amazing Apollo family, I am in best shape of my life and I don’t plan on slowing down.
I’m a big believer in setting high goals and consistently taking steps to achieve them. If it doesn’t scare you a little, you’re not setting the bar high enough. Challenge yourself everyday to pursue excellence. That can be in anything from the gym, to work, to creating better relationships with the people around you. Something I live by is to not get lost in the big picture. It can be overwhelming. Take it from the great Rocky Balboa, “one step at a time, one punch at a time, one round at a time.”
