I was always very athletic growing up. I did everything from gymnastics, dance, cheerleading, volleyball and even pole vaulting. This led me into coaching gymnastics and tumbling starting when I was just 14 years old. I LOVED coaching and LOVED being active.
As I got older, I got married and had 3 beautiful children and started along a different career path and sort of lost that active side of myself. In a desperate search to find it again I tried different gyms, Zumba classes, Pilates before a friend finally introduced me to CrossFit in 2016. I died my first few months of workouts (sometimes I still do!) but loved the challenge it brought me, and I was hooked.
After a few years of CrossFit though I was still missing the teaching/coaching aspect part of my life that I loved so much, so when I heard a coach was needed in the teens program, I knew that’s exactly where I wanted to be. I love seeing their passion for fitness and watching them grow into themselves and gain more and more confidence each and every week. I also love that it’s something I can share and connect with my own children too!
