Biography
I am a proud military spouse and mom of two boys. My athletic background prior to CrossFit consisted mostly of running and hiking. I started doing CrossFit 8 years ago in the front room of my house with a mop handle for a barbell and the main site as my coach. I knew I needed to get strong, but I didn’t know how.
My 9 month old son was sick and required round the clock care, and I had a three year old too. I had heard about CrossFit from my husband after he returned from a deployment and he said he thought I would like it-I told him he was wrong, haha!! But turns out, he was right- CrossFit kept me sane and gave me something else to focus on that was my own.
Once I was able to join a gym, I really saw what all the magic was about. CrossFit’s community has helped me through many hard days and the lessons I’ve learned from the people in my fitness family have shaped all areas of my life.
I want to fight every day to stay in the best shape possible because I never want my health to hold my family back. Being capable, strong, and independent is the gift that I get to give my family for showing up every day – and I want that to continue for the rest of my life.
As a coach, I want people to know that everyone can do this, you just need to show up. We have a lot of fun, and I can guarantee you will walk out the door with more than you walked in. I can’t wait to meet you!
